Boob Cactus (Fukurokuryuzinboku)
Myrtillocactus geometrizans 'Fukurokuryuzinboku'
An extraordinary and whimsical cultivar of the Myrtillocactus geometrizans, the 'Fukurokuryuzinboku' is famously known as the 'Boob Cactus' due to its unique tubercular ribs that resemble human breasts. This slow-growing, blue-green cactus is a rare monstrous form that serves as a sculptural centerpiece in any succulent collection. Its smooth, glaucous skin and minimal spines make it as tactilely intriguing as it is visually striking.

Care Guide
Lighting Exposure: Place your Boob Cactus in the brightest spot possible. It thrives in direct sunlight or very bright, filtered light. Indoors, a south-facing window is ideal for maintaining its blue-green hue. ### Watering Protocol: Use the 'soak and dry' method. Allow the soil to dry out completely before watering. In winter, reduce watering to once every 4-6 weeks to prevent root rot during its dormancy. ### Soil Environment: Use a very gritty, well-draining cactus mix. Adding extra pumice or coarse sand is highly recommended to ensure drainage. ### Temperature: This cactus prefers warm temperatures between 65°F and 85°F. It is not frost-hardy and should be kept away from cold drafts or temperatures below 50°F. ### Seasonal Care: During winter, the plant enters a rest period. Keep it in a cool (not cold) spot and keep it dry to mimic its natural desert habitat. Avoid high humidity as it can lead to fungal issues.
