Care Notes
Light
Give bright, filtered light. Direct sun can bleach leaves or leave brown spots.
Water
Keep soil evenly moist. Water when the top half-inch feels dry. Distilled or rainwater helps prevent tip burn from minerals. Use a pot with drainage holes.
Soil
Choose an airy, organic mix such as peat moss and perlite that holds moisture without staying soggy.
Humidity and Temperature
Humidity of at least 60% is important. Use a pebble tray or humidifier if the air is dry. Prefer 65°F to 75°F (18°C to 24°C), and protect from cold drafts and air conditioning vents. In winter, water less and pause fertilizer.
Common Issues
Brown leaf edges usually mean low humidity or tap water minerals. Yellowing leaves often signal overwatering.
